Materials
Vintage magazines, glue sticks, paper, scissors, craft knives, cutting mats, pencils, and rulers are provided.
Hands-on Help
If you have questions as you collage, or need help finding an image, etc., Julia is around for one-on-one help!
A Masterpiece
Everyone will take home their very own finished 8” x 10” collage, mounted in an 11” x 14” photo mount.

I think we often put too much pressure on ourselves to instantly be amazing at something we don't do often, or something that's new. Collage is a great, low-lift way to explore your thoughts and feelings. It's a form of self care! A stress relieving way to log off, zone out and create art. I encourage you to allow yourself to create without pressure, and I promise that you'll take home something awesome.

My "Collage" Degree
Since 2018, collage continues to be my area of focus. My artwork has been featured in Urban Outfitters, sticker books, and was even printed in Kolaj Magazine and Contemporary Collage Magazine. (If you were curious, my actual college degree is an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design from FIDM in 2012).
I love teaching collage, art and design! With my Design Director background, partnership as an Adobe Mentor and 20+ workshops under my belt, I've come to know many different teaching and learning styles.
You want tips and tricks or feedback? You’ve got it! You want to be left alone to collage and zone out? You’ve got it! Everyone learns and creates differently in workshops, so I’m here for you however you need me.
And hey, I may even learn a thing or two from you.

How long are your workshops?
Workshops are typically 3 hours. That might sound long, but I promise you it goes by way faster than you'd think!
What's the parking like?
There are a couple spots in the lot of my building. There's a pay to park lot at the nearby Bank of America, or free street parking. All day parking is available on the south side of Melrose on N Oxford Ave, N Serrano Ave, & Hobart Blvd., & on the north side of Melrose on Hobart Blvd. There are lots of 2 hour parking spots in the area too. Make sure to read signs! :)
What is the venue accessibility?
Please note that there is a small set of stairs to enter the building. There is no ramp access.
Is it all ages?
Workshops are for ages 13+. All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
