For this piece, I only used random cutouts I had around the studio. They were either leftover from past work, or I’d been holding on to them for the “right moment”. So I decided why not put them all together! I’ve said it before but one of my favorite things about collage is it doesn't have to make sense!

About the design: As a collector of barware and keepsakes, I wanted these coasters to have the same ephemeral feeling you'd get from finding a great designed coaster at a local dive bar and loving it so much that you take it home with you. What better way to encapsulate that shiny feeling than a disco ball? Printed on medium-weight pulp board, these are sturdier than an average bar coaster while having that same classic vintage vibe.
