Wedding Suite for K&D

I had the privilege of designing and collaborating on wedding stationery with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Katherine and Denny. The invitation brief was: soft elegance, a lavender/blue/green palette with gold accents, and cursive typography with watercolor elements.I painted a 9” x 12” watercolor of the Santa Barbara courthouse for the back of the invitation, and added painted lavender, hydrangea, and filigree border elements to use throughout the RSVP card, invite and address label.

In addition to the invitations, the suite also included table numbers, welcome signs, custom tabletop signage, a seating chart, cocktail napkins, and a pamphlet for the Paebaek Ceremony.

What I love about designing for weddings is you can really get a feel for the couple's aesthetic, and also how well they work together in decision making along the way. Big congratulations to Katie and Denny!
