Bespoke Wedding Signage

Danielle & Yo reached out to create a custom day-of-wedding stationery suite.

They shared their inspirational Pinterest board and we had a kick-off call. The vibe was retro, tropical and illustrated in a color palette complimentary to burnt oranges, reds and dark greens.

I especially enjoyed this project because this couple was getting married at the same venue I got married at! Valentine in DTLA.

Equipped with my deep understanding of the tropical styling of the venue, I dove into researching retro fonts and creating fun illustrations, including a bird of paradise to tie in the greenery.

Included in the stationery suite was: a cocktail menu, dinner menu, welcome sign, place cards, table numbers and a seating chart for roughly 140 people.

With six assets, this. kind of became a mini brand. I essentially created a style guide with the palette, font and illustrations, and they came together in the perfect marriage of design.
