November ‘20 Playlist | Music to Listen to While Waiting in Line to Vote
It’s November! Which means that, (if you haven’t already), it’s time to VOTE. For more info on where to vote in person or where to drop your ballot in a dropbox, head over to vote.org/dropbox-locator. Use your power!
Okay now back to the music – the November playlist is here! Ft. new tunes from Cass McCombs, Hot Chip, Chet Faker, Kurt Vile and more. 🎶 Have a listen below.
Here's the highlights:
“Don’t (Just) Vote” is a collaborative track between Cass McCombs, Angel Olsen, Bob Weir and Noam Chomsky. In a statement, McCombs said, “Vote, yes, but when you do, imagine the world you would like to see, beyond what appears on your ballot. Harness your imagination and justice becomes inevitable.”
Chet Faker is back with new music! In 2016 he pivoted to making music under his real name, Nick Murphy; “Low” is the first song released as Chet Faker since 2014.
Hot Chip recently curated a Late Night Tales compilation album, releasing a couple of exclusive songs. Then a little over a week ago dropped a brand new track ft. Jarvis Cocker titled “Straight to the Morning” and it’s making me so, so happy! Seriously, listen immediately.
