• Khruangbin’s new album came out last month! I’ve been needing more mellow tunes nowadays.

• Hayden Thorpe (former frontman of Wild Beasts) teamed up with Joe Goddard (of Hot Chip) on “Unknown Song” – a collaboration that spawned out of staying connected in lockdown. Thorpe’s vocals mixed with Goddard’s synths are such a dance-y dream.

• Speaking of lockdown, Anderson .Paak dropped a new track titled “Lockdown”. I recommend checking out the video here, which includes a Jay Rock verse that’s not on streaming services. Such a powerful message about the Black Lives Matter movement in the Covid era. The people are rising…
