Ticketmaster Fully Charged Truck Wrap
When the words “We got a vintage milk truck from the 50’s and we’re going to re-furbish and wrap it for an NFL Tailgate tour” came out of the sports marketing team’s mouths, my jaw dropped and a single tear shed from my eyes. What a rad project to work on!
The “Ticketmaster Fully Charged” truck toured to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Seattle and Foxborough, Massachusetts for the 2018 NFL Season Kick Off.
Equipped with mobile charging stations, a VR experience, WiFi and ambassadors (like Dion Branch! The Patriot’s Super Bowl MVP), we needed to ensure this hotspot stood out from the crowd. To do so, I started with a large and in-charge logo: I hand lettered “Fully Charged” and bordered the type with charging cables and lightning bolts for added context and character.
Affixed to the top of the truck was a shiny spinning silver sequined “ticketmaster” lightning bolt sure to catch anyone’s eye. A “HOTSPOT” vanity plate was placed on the front, and some retro inspired “bumper stickers” were slapped along the bottom portion of the truck.
A retro canvas created to road trip across the United States was something I thought only existed in my dreams, thankfully now it’s a reality.
