Flea Market Finds | Rosebowl by Julia Walck

I had floral overload last weekend at the Rosebowl Flea Market. Who am I kidding? That's definitely not a thing and it never will be.

To sum up my haul, I got a set of 6 vintage trays, two votive candle holders with a matching flower pot (because that makes sense?), a giant yellow P, a cup that says "I'll bet you can't", 2 pins, 4 more flower pots and 2 fluffy white pillows. I'd say I did a damn good job.

Let's take a moment to mourn those left behind: That floral + orange chair. Gorgeous. I have this thing with chairs at flea markets where I'm constantly drawn to them. Then, the voice in my head yells at me with something like, "Hey you! What are you doing? Where are you going to put all of these chairs? Hm? Where?" Then I softly hang my head and walk away.

That vinyl floral patterned one though? SO hard to walk away from. But yes, sadly I did walk away.

Yellow P has never looked so good. Hang it up in my bathroom you say? I think I just might. šŸš½

Flowers on flowers... on succulents?

Shit happens. Like when you buy a pin because you like the quote... and that quote ends up being from a Nickelback song.

I may or may not have a tear in my eye.

Flea Market Finds Organized Neatly by Julia Walck

Recently for work, we were given a budget of around $250 and went to the Melrose Trading Post to find props for an upcoming photoshoot. Here's some of what we came back with.

My personal favorite might be that NEHI beverages bottle. That type? Those colors?! The whole shebang. Man, retro design you are my one true love.

PS, my neighbors probably think I'm crazy standing on benches taking photos of things I've intricately laid out all the time. You know, because the good light in our apartment has to be directly in front of our neighbor's window.
