Make Every Day Haturday by Julia Walck

I just wrapped up a project I've been working on for most of the month: I wore a different hat every day for 27 days straight and NO ONE NOTICED!

Yes I own 27 hats. 28 if you count my hattoo. (I don't have a problem!!!) I also have a hashtag for myself on Instagram you can take a peek at

Here's an individual breakdown day by day.
*Note: If you're on a phone you've got a bit of scrolling to do!

It's a bit relieving to not take a photo every day anymore, but I did like watching the progression over the span of a month. Coming up with a completely new outfit each day and not repeating anything except for my smile was a fun challenge.

All in all, I guess if I got anything out of this project it's 27 new profile photos.

Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking by Julia Walck

Spring is officially here, and along with it are some beautiful blooms. Walking through my neighborhood one day, I saw a massive amount of floral walls and just had to take some photo opportunities with them. It was also a good excuse to mess around with some new VSCO filters I got for Lightroom.

Yeah, yeah that wood backdrop isn't floral... but still a pretty rad photo spot right?

Let's just talk about this hat for a second. It's from an Aussie site called Lack of Color (and color is something their hats certainly do NOT lack).

Yes, I color coordinated the peach with my blue hair because I knew that color combo would basically be the best thing ever; and that's been proven right by the massive amount of compliments I've received on it.

It's probably the best quality hat I've ever owned. Super sturdy, perfect color / texture, and all around awesome. If you're a hat person, I'd highly suggest checking them out.

Temporary Bouquets by Julia Walck

I'm a pretty simple girl. I actually prefer a bouquet of balloons rather than a bouquet of flowers (they're way more fun) but temporary flowers are super rad! Vintage florals are my jam.

Tattify just released two new flower sets today, and I thought a great way to showcase them would be covering myself in the floral temporary tattoos! Right now I'm typing with a garden on my hands, which sounds stranger than it is.

Also, I'm really into this super girly set of Valentine's Day banners I did for the Tattify homepage.
