Recently, in Things | Letter Boards by Julia Walck

Letter boards are so hot right now. They're great for menus in your kitchen, optimistic quotes on your shelf in the bedroom, forget-me-nots by the door, and just really anything/anywhere in general. Ours is hanging in our bathroom and currently says "Throw kindness around like confetti".

The one I recently purchased was off of Amazon for $37, and is 12"x18", but if I were to get another one it'd definitely be one in this roundup.

I change mine out all the time. Like for Valentine's Day I did an Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind quote, and on Friday the 13th I switched it to a Michael Scott quote from The Office. Which I think I've re-watched about 6 times now. It's honestly one of the best shows ever.

All Yellow Everything by Julia Walck

I snagged the cutest lil' setup today antiquing in Pomona, and had unintentional outfit / furniture coordination. But I guess that's how you know a find is meant to be.

There's this great spot called Antique Row with TONS of antique stores. I guess it's been about 2 years since my last trip there. My favorite this time was Pomona Antique Mart, which is actually where I got the chair, table, tray, and little bird planter. It's 3 levels of retro-goodness. I also got a pair of king and queen lo-ball glasses from Persnickity Antiquity. $5 for the pair. WHAT.

How the Tables Have Turned by Julia Walck

A.K.A, we got a new coffee table.

Succulent and built in bottle opener included. Now that's my kind of table! šŸŒµšŸ»

Jackson and I were at the Melrose Trading Post a few weeks back and stumbled upon Deck and Stringer, a reclaimed lumber furniture company. We saw this table and just knew we had to have it. Look at those hairpin legs! And the storage? Perfect. Much better than our last glass top table with a broken panel. Let's just say that part wasn't so good at holding things as a table should.

On another note, our pillow game just got stronger šŸ’Ŗ

You Might Wanna Sit Down For This by Julia Walck

Preferably in these chairs. Am I right?

I found these colorful acrylic Eames style shell chairs over at Mid Century Monger. It's a slippery slope, though; now I feel like I need to upgrade our dining room table, and maybe the coffee table next?

I also made a new pom pom bunting-hanging-thing as well. Let's cram as much color into this apartment as possible, shall we?
